Working With Chris Brown A Mistake For Bieber

Please tell me that Justin Bieber is not trying to toughen up his image by collaborating with a convicted woman beater. It must be simply because he thinks Chris Brown has some kind of redeeming quality, right? Listen, I?m not one of those ultra-PC, finger-wagging, self-righteous types, but it is nice to see a pop star with real talent who isn?t reduced to stripping while lip-syncing to sell records. You know, the kind of star who a parent wouldn?t mind taking their kid to see. So why on Earth would one of the few respectable young pop stars actually worthy of parental approval jump on board for collaboration with the non-apologetic Mr. Brown? Whatever the reason, this week we saw the debut of the music video for ?Next 2 You,? which features both singers doing their thing together. Not only is Bieber switching up the company he keeps with this one, but the video is also out of his typical range of taste. It has the feel of an action flick rather than the bright, poppy, high-energy videos we have grown accustomed to. If Bieber is in the drivers seat in any capacity, I hope he can tap the brakes [...]
